About us
Since established in 2017, Heaven City is a multi-ethnic missional church where those, who want to learn and follow the pattern of the faith Jesus demonstrated in his spiritual journey in/toward God, gather together. Jesus is the Forerunner, who presented the saving life in God, which is the eternal life that we need to follow. Jesus is the Face of God and the Way of eternal principle of God. Jesus was the living alternative, offering hope for an alternative world grounded in a different reality. It is called "the Kingdom of God."
To know Jesus is to follow him. We believe that the purpose of the ministry of Jesus is not to negotiate with God to change His mind about human beings, but to change man’s mind about God. Thus, he/she can live in God who is the eternal principle. Therefore, as Jesus lived in Spirit of God, we should live in the Spirit. As Jesus purposes his life to proclaim the Good News of the kingdom of God, our goal is to do in the same direction. We called followers of Jesus by saying, "You follow me as I follow Jesus."
The broken rectangle is represented as a frame of mental structures which shape our worldviews. It can also be described as a mental structure of preconceived ideas, a framework representing some aspect of the world, or a system of organizing and perceiving new information.
It is a Chinese character that means “person.”
The logo means that person is being called to get out of the frame in which he lives in. In/with the God’s saving justice, the person will be transformed into the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 8:29).
