OUR
MINISTRIES
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is a safe place to explore your questions and concerns about your life with God. Spiritual direction is a ministry that helps you grow in prayer and live into your calling as a follower of Christ. Prayer is not intended to change God’s mind about us but to change our mind about God through contemplative mind in Spirit.
Spiritual direction is not to help solve a problem but to look for God’s divine activity within any moments we struggle and within the rest of the one’s life experience. This perspective invites you into deeper relationship with God in the midst of whatever you are experiencing.
Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina is Latin for "divine reading," "spiritual reading," or "holy reading" and represents a method of prayer and scriptural reading intended to promote communion with God and provide special spiritual insights.
In terms of prayer, Lectio Divina is one of ways God speaks into our heart and mind. God speaks to us million times and million seconds. Thus by reading the words of God, our heart and mind have to be attuned to the heart of God when God vibrates our heart.
The actual practice of lectio divina begins with a time of relaxation, making oneself comfortable and clearing the mind of mundane thoughts and cares. Some lectio practitioners find it helpful to concentrate by beginning with deep, cleansing breaths and repeating a chosen phrase or word several times to help free the mind.
Serving the community
Jesus Said, "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you made me welcome, lacking clothes and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me." (Mat 25:35-36) As a part of community, we reach out to our neighbors in need. We do not sell the image of Jesus but live as he would do.

Pastoral Support
Our leadership and ministry teams are committed to serving the pastoral needs of our community. We desire to help build strong individuals and families who are growing in passion for Jesus and compassion for people. We offer focused ministry in the areas of marriage and family counseling and premarital preparation.
Multi-Ethnic Prayer
During the gathering, we will celebrate the blessings of God, experience the love of Christ beyond one’s cultural and linguistic perceptions, and strengthen each other to become one in Christ and pray for us to reach the nations within our own community.

During the meeting, we will:
Sing songs together
Listen to a sacred story in God that people will share
Pray together as a united body in Jesus

God has given everyone their own story, a story that is written on the heart of each of His children. In the prayer meeting, we will celebrate each other’s stories in Christ. We will gather together to celebrate each individual’s story, and will strengthen our community as a multi-ethnic body in Christ.
